10:30 am ~ Childen’s Pageant

Tis the season for the annual children’s pageant! Always a highlight of the year this is not an event you want to miss!  Think you know the story of the Grinch? Maybe not. Come join our elementary class as they stage the play “How the Grinch Saved the Holidays!” Let’s all come out to cheer on our young UUs!

11:30 am ~ Holiday Pot Luck Lunch and Party

Bring your most festive and holiday-inspired dishes… or your healthiest hearty fare… or some of your famous holiday desserts! We will devour it all, then enjoy a variety of holiday crafts and caroling as we get into the holiday spirit. Not just a family event! Who doesn’t love some time sharing a meal and decorating cookies or stringing popcorn, or making cards? This is a great time to bring a friend along for the day. Plan to stay long enough to help roll away the tables as we sing our favorite carols, maybe you’ll get in good with St. Nick by helping load up the dishwasher or stack the chairs?

Celebrate the shortest day and the longest night of the year with songs, readings, and candlelight. Please bring a plate of goodies to share for the reception immediately following if you so wish.
