UUMAC Family Camp July 7-13

Early-bird (discounted) registration ends April 15 for July 7-13 residential family camp for UUs, including YOU! Loved by kids of all ages, this is a peak life experience for those who have attended. No kidding! Located on an idyllic college campus in Eastern PA, someone else cooks AND cleans: vegan, vegetarian, omnivore, and with MANY and VARIED allergy requests. Some children bring their grandparents. The children go to their own programming in the morning, outdoor activities in the afternoon and games in the evening. You can have some free time or do a fun workshop with others. This year’s theme talks are on Non-Violent Communication and led by the Rev. Lora Kim Joyner. We gather daily for morning worship and vespers.
We meet on the campus of DeSales University, near Allentown, Pennsylvania. UUMAC lasts one week, though many campers wish it were longer! As the name indicates, we are focused on UUs from the Mid-Atlantic States, but anyone is welcome to join the fun. DeSales provides food, comfortable dorm housing, and buildings for our use.
Our week includes sharing, listening, building community, laughing, singing, thinking, reading, dancing, and getting to know each other. UUMAC is many things to many people: a spiritual retreat, time for reflection and celebration, a reunion with our friends, a time to revel in a community of fun-loving and like-minded people of all ages. Join us for a week, which is as relaxing or action-packed as you like, and renew your spirit. Check out the YouTube on the UUMAC website (www.uumac.org) homepage for more information.
