Workshop: Bear Witness as a skill of Preemptive Radical Inclusion, with CB Beal (REGISTRATION REQUIRED)

This lively, fun workshop will enable us to practice some skills of bearing witness by sharing and bearing witness to our experiences. A bearing witness workshop is different from a content driven workshop in that it begins with an assumption of inclusion. Everyone has stories about their life!

When we bear witness to people, we must consistently notice and set aside our assessments, thoughts, assumptions, and challenges in order to give them our fullest attention. Bearing witness allows us to accept the experiences others share without deciding *for them* what those experiences mean.

This lively 90 minute workshop (including breaks) will include low stakes sharing and paying close attention to what others choose to share.
