School board election season is here, and it is important that everyone who is eligible vote. UUFN does not endorse candidates, but we encourage you to use the League of Women Voters voter information site ( https://www.vote411.org/ ) to see the candidates’ platforms, so you can make an informed decision. Furthermore, once you see candidates you can support, contact them, and offer your help - from spreading the word, to canvassing your neighborhood, to giving financial support.
The League of Women Voters will hold a forum on April 29th at 6 pm for Red Clay SD and a forum at 7 pm for Christina SD at 7:00 p.m. Click here to register . The Friends of Christina School District (FoCSD) is also sponsoring a forum on May 4th at 7:00 pm.
Voting is May 11th from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
