Planned Parenthood of Delaware actively promotes reproductive health and responsible sexual behavior by providing comprehensive education, counseling and medical services for all. Because Planned Parenthood’s extensive services include abortion counseling, a federal directive recently cut its Title X funding, which pays for pregnancy and reproductive health services for the uninsured. This action will have the greatest impact on low-income and women of color. The organization is using emergency funds and raising money to pay for cases it would have handled using Title X funds.
