Every Sunday, half of our non-pledge collection goes toward supporting local non-profit organizations that are doing good for others, protecting our environment, and addressing humanitarian issues.

The recipient for December 2021 is Saint John AM Church Inc. Newark, DE.

The cemetery at the historic St John African Methodist Church on New London Road in Newark has been vandalized and trashed over the years, but recently the vandalism escalated with spilled paint, graffiti, broken fences, and dumped trash.  The church is raising money to clean up and restore this cemetery, with a goal of raising $20,000+. The Social Justice Committee has voted to help them with our share the plate donations in December. Thank you for your help.
