Service Description: We Are Better Together: An Old White Guy Considers Cooperative Living

Unitarians and Universalists have a history of building utopian communities, and UUs these days are envisioning more cooperative, socially connected, and environmentally sustainable housing communities. Jamie Kegerise is involved with a small group of folks, including several UUs, trying to build a cohousing community right here in northern Delaware. Join us as he shares what he has learned about cooperative living and the benefits in doing so.

About the Speaker:

Jamie Kegerise lives in the Pike Creek area with his wife of 36 years, Claire, and their black cat, Watson. He has been a member of UU Society of Mill Creek since 2004. He is currently working with a small group of leaders to build a cohousing community in the northern Delaware area.
