We all know the scene: we tell someone what religion we are or what church we attend and then we get The Question: "What do Unitarian Univeralists believe?" It can make the most articulate, intelligent UU fumble for a short answer or ramble on incoherently. But what if we reframed the question and prepared beforehand what we wanted to say: something concise that would help our friends and acquaintances to better understand why we're UUs? That response will be different for each of us. But, the next time we're stuck in an elevator and have two minutes to answer, we'll be ready!
