Listening to another with genuine compassion is sometimes one of the most caring and healing things we can do for a person who is suffering mentally, emotionally or spiritually. When we are connected to our hearts, we can often make a profound connection with another person. This morning, we will learn a little bit about the practice of compassionate listening and will be introduced to our Pastoral Care Team members, who offer their compassionate listening to anyone at UUFN who may benefit from it.
