Service Description:

Kecia McMillian will lead a chalice circle discussion in person in MacKinnon. For those who have participated in Chalice Circles, you may recognize this Chalice Circle topic from February 2021. We will be looking at this topic again, with the goal of digging deeper and from different perspective.

With our own congregation exploring our commitment to and questions about Black Lives Matter and the 8th Principle, this is an opportunity to reflect and discuss what it really will mean for the people of the UUFN to be a Beloved Community. How do things such as shame, vulnerability, trust, and other aspects of such a relationship play into our success as a Beloved Community? What are our next steps in embracing the relationship - Beloved Community? Let us share deeply and intentionally during this Chalice Circle service.

NOTE:  This will NOT be a hybrid service, but there will be a Zoom link where you can join a similar discussion online with Liz Carlisle and Joan Wheeler.
