Service Description
The increasing political divide between liberals and conservatives has many of us on edge. We are cautious in conversations with strangers or acquaintances, not knowing which "side" they're on and whether or not they're likely to bring up a topic we're unprepared to handle. We also know that, underneath the rhetoric, most people are more alike than different.
Still, though, how do we respond to others when they express views that are hateful or fear-based or just in opposition to our own positions, while retaining our commitment to our own values?
In this service, Rev. Kim offers some suggestions that may actually lead to connection rather than division.
