Being Human, Together, (Rev. Kim Wilson, 3-23-2025)

Service Description

Most of us don't receive much instruction in how to have healthy relationships. But our UU communities can be a place where we gain some of those skills as we learn and grow together.

A covenant can help build a foundation of trust within a congregation. By creating shared expectations around the ways of being together, we come closer to creating the beloved community.

Of course, we are only human, and covenants are broken. But covenants make our community strong, because they make it possible for our torn web of relationships to be rewoven and repaired, much like a beautiful spider's web.

In this service, Rev. Kim Wilson reviews our UUFN covenant and shares ideas of what leads to healthy relationships.
