March 2026’s Share the Plate recipient is Literacy Delaware

Literacy Delaware is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing literacy for adults across Delaware through free, individualized tutoring, English language instruction, and advocacy. Founded in 1983, the organization trains and supports volunteer tutors who help adults improve reading, writing, and communication skills so they can achieve personal goals such as employment, further education, or helping their children succeed in school. By empowering adults with essential literacy skills, Literacy Delaware strengthens families, the workforce, and communities statewide.
