Dec. 4 – Five Generations… One Community (Intergenerational Service)

“A Traditionalist, a Baby-Boomer, a Gen-Xer, a Millennial and an iGen walk into a UU Fellowship…” Sounds like the beginning of a joke but really, it’s true.

Here at UUFN, we serve five generations of people in one community. In this special Intergenerational service, we will introduce the theme of “Presence”. Our generations will be intentionally “present” with one another as they partner together to lead the worship, offer music, readings, ushering and even the Sunday sermon together. What happens when a Baby Boomer and a 5th grader lead the Call to Worship together? How do things go when a Traditionalist and a Millennial greet you at the door? No matter your age, all are welcome!
