Summer is over and we’re getting ready for cooler weather, leaves coming down and “in person” services! A big THANK YOU to all the volunteers that participated in the summer work parties and watered the gardens when it was so hot and dry.

Following is a list of upcoming volunteer opportunities at the UUFN gardens and grounds for the Fall season, starting with a general clean-up on October 2nd to get ready for UUFN’s re-opening for in person activities on October 9th and 10th.

This time of year our focus transitions from weeding, trimming and general maintenance of the gardens to a major leaf raking effort and some removal of invasive plants. Please mark your calendar and come out for whatever time you can spend to help keep the grounds looking good. I’ll send out an email update if anything (weather, event conflicts, etc.) comes up that impacts the schedule!
