Delaware Interfaith Power and Light is organizing a “Climate Conversation” between a number of Newark Faith Congregations, including UUFN.
It is happening OVER ZOOM.
It will be a fascinating evening – hearing from experts to understand Climate Change issues and brainstorm how our congregations and members can make a difference.
Another exciting addition is that opening remarks will be given by DNREC (Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control) Secretary Shawn M. Garvin. This is going to be a chance to learn about Climate Change issues and, especially, discuss and brainstorm with other involved Newark Faith Communities about how each of our communities can be part of the solution to Climate Change.
