UUFN is hosting this year’s Delmarva Cluster Gathering! October 19, 2019 from 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Last year’s gathering entitled, Building Congregations: What’s in Your Toolbox? was so successful, it warranted a Part 2. Come and join people from other Delmarva Cluster congregations for a day of inspiration and interaction.

There will be a keynote address and a chance to participate in 2 breakout sessions. Choose from among these topics – Welcoming New People, FUNdraising, Lay Led Worship and Leadership Development.

Lunch is included and the cost is $20, $15, or $10 – pay what you can. This is a great opportunity to share resources and ideas as well as an opportunity to get to know some wonderful UUs you might otherwise not meet.

Please do attend. (Last year’s gathering got rave reviews!) Contact: Beth Rausch

Building Congregations, What is in Your Toolbox? Part 2

Sponsored by the Delmarva Cluster with the Central East Region.

Join other UU congregations in the Central East Region for a day of networking, learning, and connecting. Last year the workshop of “Building Community: What’s in your Toolbox?” was very successful and this is a continuation of that model with new topics. Attending Part 1 last year is not a requirement for attendance.   All are welcome.

Goals of the day:

  • Develop resilience as lay leaders and communities.
  • Create meaningful Sunday worship week after week.
  • Explore the possibilities of successful event planning.
  • Explore the way we welcome visitors, why they visit, and how to get them to stay around
  • Embrace who we are and challenge who we think we are.
  • Opportunities will be provided for networking and exchange of ideas where participants build their church community using their own expertise and that of others.
