“THE ADVENTURERS”The third and fourth grade class

Our “Adventure Guides” instill a respect for the interconnectedness of all things as well as a sense for the sacredness of our earth. The Adventurers embark on explorations of traditions and cultures other than their own while learning to apply our Unitarian Universalist principles to their own lives.

The Adventurers class curriculum is entitled, “Moral Tales,” UU-based curriculum in the Tapestry of Faith Program that focuses on providing children with the spiritual and ethical tools they will need to make choices and take actions reflective of our Unitarian Universalist beliefs. Through stories from the around the world, hands-on activities, and meaningful projects, the Adventurers embark on explorations that uncover lessons in such values as forgiveness, integrity, faith and empathy.
