UU Superheroes

The children explore the lives of some remarkable Unitarians, Universalists, and Unitarian Universalists who have acted with admirable courage and wisdom in their attempts to live with integrity and make the world a better place for others. (Yes, Superman—or at least an actor who played him—is among them.)

The children also discover eight of the world’s other great religious traditions as seen through the eyes of children who are part of them. Class members build personal confidence, practice using their own positive “super powers” as they interact with the world around them, and grow both spiritually and ethically.
