New Years Day – Jan.1, 2018 – 3:30 pm

On January 1st there is a Super Moon. This is when the moon is closest to the earth for 2018. We will mark this occasion for the 1st of the year New Years Day, with a Native American Moon Ceremony.

This will be the time to set an intention to let it go. It does not have to be a great letting go. Just be open to letting go of that which does not serve you well.

We will be indoors. There will be a smudging with sage.

The Ceremony will be followed by a potluck, so bring a dish to share.

Corn Bread, Succotash, and Bean Soup (foods that are a tradition for Native Americans) will be provided, along with beverages.

Come and start the year out right; with the community, intention, and a connection to the Earth.
