Join us for an educational afternoon about the current and future state of American healthcare. First, we will screen the documentary “Money-Driven Medicine,” which examines the current state of American healthcare.
Then, we will host a panel discussion about healthcare and health insurance in Delaware and America. Panel members include Eric Morrison, who worked in Delaware Medicaid and related programs for 13 years; Dustyn Thompson, who will advise about Medicaid Buy-In and the ACA; Andrew Wilson, Esq., a top healthcare attorney, head of medical policy for the Medical Society of Delaware, and a member of several healthcare think tanks; and Darius Gordon from the Center for Popular Democracy (CPD), who will address Medicare for All. We will also have a special taped statement from former U.S. Senate candidate Kerri Evelyn Harris.
We will show the film, then break for pizza, followed by our panel discussion and social time. Please consider contributing a couple of dollars if you intend to partake in pizza. We will have water for attendees.
Thank you to Delaware United for coordinating this event.
We hope to see you at this educational and exciting event. Please help spread the word!
