Each month the women of UUFN gather to explore different spiritual themes and practices.
In November the topic is Samhain.
Samhain (pronounced SAH-win) is the point in the year marking the end of the harvest season and the beginning of the “darker half” of the year. Corresponding to “All-Hallows Eve“, Halloween, All Soul’s or All Saint’s Day, Day of the Dead and the Pagan New Year, Samhain is a time for bonfires, healing, dancing, celebrating the final harvest, and remembering and honoring ancestors.
