RE Begins Again in September!

School’s Back! UUFN Religious Education

“We are Unitarian Universalists, a people with minds that think, hearts that love and hands that help.” Words like these are commonly recited when a chalice is lit at the start of a children’s religious education session.

Storytelling, arts and crafts, songs and interactive activities facilitate an environment of fun, trust and learning in our classrooms.

We offer a partnership in raising children who are kind, respectful, fair-minded, caring, and strong enough to stand up for what is right. Through our religious education programs, worship, social justice work, and multigenerational gatherings, UUFN reinforces what parents teach at home.

The focus of our Religious Education program for all age levels is to encourage children’s spiritual growth in a comfortable and accepting community.  We strive to grow your children’s resiliency, compassion, and ethics while building their sense of connection to all life on our planet.

Experiences range from our youngest children building friendships and trust while playing together; through the elementary program’s focus on helping people, animals and the environment; middle schooler’s exploration of the beliefs of Unitarian Universalism as well as other Faith Traditions; to the High School Youth Group’s collaboratively planned activities and service trips.

Join us for the Fun!

September 10th – Intergenerational Service – Children are encouraged to join us in the service for our annual In-Gathering water communion. Bring a small vial of water from a special place. Remember to register your young person for Religious Education in Fah’s Hall during coffee hour.
