Delaware Candidates Forums for 2010
Sunday, August 22, 2010 from 1 to 5pm

Delaware Candidates Forums for 2010 are coming up this summer and fall. UUFN is inviting Delaware candidates for US Senate, US House of Representatives, statewide offices, and state representative districts 21, 23, and 25. Our "soft" dates are:

  1. Sunday August 22 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM for candidates facing a Delaware primary Sept 14, and
  2. Saturday Oct 9 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM before the Nov 2 general election.

These dates and a detailed schedule will firm up as candidates and moderators accept. YOU can check "who has filed and when did they file?" by clicking here.

The Social Justice Candidates Forums team needs your help! Please see the list of tasks, and contact us if you can assist with:

  • Recruiting and staying in touch with candidates – Laura Anderson and Paul Baumbach
  • Writing publicity (internal and to media), recruiting moderators, updating UUFN website – Pam G. Green
  • Being our volunteer coordinator – we need YOU to sign up folks who can:
    • Serve as skilled sound technicians
    • Offer concessions to all, and lunch for moderators
    • Set up/clean up
    • Make tent signs with names of candidates and moderators
    • Serve as pages/runners

Please contact Laura A, Paul B, or Pam G, and let us know how you can help. Your suggestions and ideas are always welcome.
